Message from Alan Mossberg, Chairman of the Board

Dear Mossberg Community Members and Followers, as I'm sure you know, there is an election on November 8th. This election will be a very important one for several reasons, including the fact that the balance of the U.S. Supreme Court and our Constitutional Rights could be significantly affected.

We at  O.F. Mossberg & Sons, Inc. strongly encourage you to exercise your rights as citizens and participate in the election process.

Here are a few things to consider:

• If you have not yet done so, please register to vote. It's quick and easy, and time is running out. Each state has specific deadlines, many of which are in the month of October.
• Understand the positions of all of the candidates running in 2016. Informed voters make better decisions for their future and the future of their families.
• As a hunter and shooter, or even as someone whose livelihood could be affected by anti-gun legislation, please carefully consider the positions that each candidate has taken on the issues of firearms and firearms ownership.  Those positions could have a significant impact on everyone's ability to exercise their Constitutional right to gun ownership, and the ability to hunt and participate in the shooting sports.
• Please encourage your friends, family members and fellow hunters and shooters to register to vote, to get informed on the issues, and to vote on November 8th.
