Mossberg Youth Guns

“My first youth gun was a Mossberg…”

We can’t count the number of times we hear that line, and it’s a sentiment we never tire of (second only to our favorite line, “My next gun will be a Mossberg”) Our firearms, like the great tradition of shooting sports, are passed down from one generation to the next, creating life-long family bonds through quality time spent afield.

We are now on the fourth generation of Mossberg ownership, and stand alone as the oldest family-owned and operated firearms company in the country. Perhaps that’s why we always consider every member of the family in the design of our firearms, with the goal of offering younger shooters a proper fit.  Through the compact or adjustable lengths-of-pull, the shorter barrels, and reduced overall dimensions for an easier reach to the trigger and forearm, our youth guns offer the proper balance and fit that contribute greatly to a safe and enjoyable shooting experience.   How many of us have witnessed a child beam when they are able to acquire and hit their target with success?  One look at the short video below, and you’ll see there’s nothing like it!

Our selection of youth gun models has something for everyone: from pump and autoloading shotguns to plinking and deer rifles. And in between, don’t forget the FLEX System for a household firearm, which now includes 20 gauge shotguns. Easily “flexed” with our patented modular system of tool-less FLEX accessory stocks, recoil pads, and forearms, the FLEX shotguns are also compatible (within gauge and capacity) with our lineup of accessory barrels.  So you can “Flex” Dad’s turkey gun into mom’s home defense gun,  into a youth’s slug gun, and back again!

No matter which youth gun model you choose, we take this time to extend a hearty thanks to all who introduce a youth to the shooting sports.  We hope the summer brings the time to make some memories—and we’d be honored to come along for the ride!

Safe Shooting!
